Module Types
Main Modules – HM
The Main Modules are designed to provide an in-depth overview of the history and development of Indian systems of philosophy and theology.
They also form the foundation for the Advanced Modules.
Advanced Modules – VM
The Advanced Modules provide an in-depth exploration of specific topics from the Main Modules.
There is therefore always a thematic connection between a Main Module and an Advanced Module.
A small number of Advanced Modules require prior participation in a particular Main Module. Their aim is to provide an in-depth and detailed understanding of selected topics from the Main Modules.
Nerd Modules – NM
The Nerd Modules focus on very specific phenomena in the intellectual history of India.
They are called Nerd Modules because they offer the opportunity to “nerd out” on individual topics and details.
As a rule, they relate to one of the Main Modules.
Seminar Modules – SM
The Seminar Modules are intended to provide practical support for different situations in everyday life.
They are divided into two forms:
Practical Seminar Modules – PSM
Practical Seminar Modules explore philosophical practice.
They provide tips, guidance, methods and affirmations for a variety of life situations.
These modules may also be offered in cooperation with other individuals or institutions.
Śāstra Seminar Modules – ŚSM
In the Śāstra Seminar Modules, selected Śāstras are read, analysed and discussed together on a regular basis.
